Design information
When I started the design for this exhust, I knew it was going to be very similar to the 07.v.1.0. I didn't realize just how similar they would be. Basically, the inlet and the support bracket are the only changes.

Looks like testing is going very well. Word on the street is...............dyno tune today! I will post more info as soon as I can.
I realized that any new orders for the 05.v.1.0 will go on the waiting list. So, by the time they are built, all the testing will be done and any changes will have been incorporated.
I have added the 05.v.1.0 to the order form!
Pricing has worked out to the same as the 07.v.2.0. The same "A" and "B" outer tube orientations are available for the 05.v.1.0.
$359.00 + shipping for a raw finish.
$379.00 + shipping for a brushed finish.
$409.00 + shipping for a ceramic coated finish.
I know this can be a little confusing, not having a dedicated 05 How to Buy page. But just check out the details for the 07 and fill out the order request form.
I will be working on a new page and hope to have it done in the next few days.
The two fender eliminator options available now are the....
05.FE.v.1.0 which is shown in the prototype installed pics. It's a $30.00 option. Recommened to use with an integrated tail light.
05.FE.v.2.0 which is the same plate mount, but it will include turn signals. It's a $70.00 option. Recommened to use without an integrated tail light. The turn signals offered are the same as the ones used in the 07.FE.v.2.0 kit.
I am trying to find a fair way to get the 05 orders moved up the list. I'll see what I can come up with.

I have not added this to my order form, just yet. I want to wait for a few test miles first. This is very similar to the 07.v.2.0 so I don't expect any problems.
I did find that the stock parts that go around the exhaust, that mount the turn signals, will work. As you can see in the pics. But, it is a little flimsy and will move around a little when riding. I have no plans to add 4 studs to the bottom of my exhaust so it will mount like it does on the stock exhaust.
I'm not a big fan of all that hanging down there anyway. So, removing those parts look a ton better.
The small bracket shown above will be an option. So you can run an integrated tail and still have a place to mount your plate.

I've got a great opportunity to push up the 05.v.1.0 prototype fabrication!
Look for prototype pics, includeing installed pics, on Monday 8/18! Ya, that's just a few days away!
I've been thinking about F/E kits to go with the 05.v.1.0. I will come up with something to mount the license plate to start with. I figure most have an integrated tail light by now. But I will come up with something that has turn signals on it for those that can't run the integrated tail light.

So, I disassembled the bike last night. Looking around to see what would fit.
Many people have asked if my 07.v.2.0 will fit. No, it won't.
BUT! The design changes to make a 05.v.1.0 are very, very minimal! New support bracket, new inlet shape and that's it!
The 05.v.1.0 prototype should be done soon!
Pricing is still TBD. But should be similar to the 07.v.2.0 exhaust.
Here are a few notes for this exhaust...
•The base design option will be similar to the 07.v.2.0.B.
•An option "A" will be available.
•The prototype will be the option "B"
•It does fit the tail very nicely.
•It looks like you will be able to use the stock fender assembly. But I can not be sure on this. The bike I am using doesn't have the stock fender. But it does have the stock turn signal mounts and plastic parts that are around the exhaust. Besides, an integrated tail light looks best anyway.
•I could make something to mount between those two parts. But it might be a little flimsy looking, and I'm not sure how well it will hold up.
•I'm still working out something that could mount the license plate to the exhaust. Something similar to the 07 kits maybe.
•I will work somthing out for the servo to fix the FI light. Probably something similar to what is offered for other aftermarket slip-on exhausts.
Exhaust Revision Information:
Current Revision: 05.v.1.0
This is the first revision for this exhaust. It's basically the same as the 07.v.2.0 exhaust.
It's the latest evolution in Pinebox exhaust design. It uses the latest of what I have learned to make the exhaust easy to fabricate, assemble and re-pack in the future.
